ভাষা দিবসে প্রকাশিত ইউরোবিডি24নিউজ প্রবাসীদের মুখপাত্রে পরিণত হবে- এম.শহিদুল ইসলাম,রাষ্ট্রদূত,বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস,ফ্রান্স

বিগত বছরগুলোর মতই এ বছর একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারী মহান শহীদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস উদযাপন উপলক্ষ্যে ফ্রান্সে বসবাসরত বাংলাদেশীদের মধ্যে বিপুল উদ্যম লক্ষ্য করা যাচ্ছে। বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস ও বিভিন্ন কমিউনিটি সংস্থা এই উপলক্ষ্যে বিভিন্ন কর্মসূচি গ্রহন করেছে যার মাধ্যমে ভাষা শহীদদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানানোর পাশাপাশি অমর একুশের চেতনা আন্তর্জাতিক সম্প্রদায়ের মাঝে তুলে ধরার প্রয়াস থাকবে।

২) আজ থেকে ৬১ বছর আগে ভাষা শহীদদের আত্নত্যাগের ফলে আমাদের মাতৃভাষা বাংলার মর্যাদা রক্ষা পায়। আজ বাংলাদেশ ও ভারতের ৩০০ মিলিয়নের বেশি মানুষ বাংলায় কথা বলে, আজ বাংলা ভাষা পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে বেশি ব্যবহৃত ভাষাগুলোর মধ্যে একটি। আজকের এই দিনে বাংলাভাষা ও সংস্কৃতি রক্ষার জন্য অবিস্মরণীয় ভূমিকা রাখার জন্য ভাষা শহীদদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা জানানোর পাশাপাশি সৃজনশীল রচনার মাধ্যমে আমাদের মাতৃভাষাকে সমৃদ্ধ ও সচল রাখার জন্য আমাদের কবি, সাহিত্যিক ও সাংবাদিকদের অবদানের কথা স্মরণ করছি।

৩) প্রবাসী বাঙালি সমাজ অবগত আছেন যে বিদেশে মাতৃভাষা চর্চা সহজ নয়। বিভিন্ন সমস্যা স্বত্তেও প্রবাসী বাঙালি সমাজের উৎসাহী ব্যক্তিরা প্রিন্ট, অনলাইন ও ইলেকট্রনিক মিডিয়ার মাধ্যমে একাধারে প্রবাসী বাঙালীদের মধ্যে বাংলাভাষার চর্চা এবং বিদেশীদের কাছে বাংলা ভাষার গৌরবময় ঐতিহ্য তুলে ধরতে সচেষ্ট রয়েছেন। এ প্রসঙ্গে এবারের ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারীর মহান দিনে ফ্রান্স থেকে জনাব ইমরান মাহমুদের সম্পাদনায় এবং প্রকাশনায় EUROBD24NEWS নামক ২৪ ঘন্টার অনলাইন নিউজ পোর্টাল চালু করার উদ্যোগকে আমি স্বাগত জানাচ্ছি ।

৪) আমি আশা করি EUROBD24NEWS পেশাদারিত্ব ও বাস্তবতার দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে দেশের এবং বিদেশের খবর পরিবেশনার মাধ্যমে দেশের ভাবমূর্তি উজ্জ্বল করবে এবং প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশীদের বিশ্বস্ত মুখপাত্রে পরিণত হবে।

Observance of Shahid Dibosh and International Mother Language Day in France

            Like previous years, this year also the Bangladeshi community in France is taking great interest in the observance of Language Martyrs Day and International Mother Language Day on 21^st February 2013. The Bangladesh Embassy in France and various community organizations are planning to hold a number of events to pay  respect to the language martyrs and to spread the spirit of the Immortal Ekushe within the international community.

2.         Thanks to the sacrifice of our language martyrs 61 years ago, our mother language was saved, and today more than 300 million people in Bangladesh and India speak Bangla, making it one of the most widely spoken languages (ranked sixth) in the world. On this occasion, as we pay our humble tribute to the language martyrs for their great role in safeguarding our language and cultural identity, we also express deep appreciation to numerous poets, writers and journalists for their relentless efforts to preserve and develop our mother language through creative writings.

3.         Bangladesh nationals who have settled in various parts of the world know well that it is not easy to preserve and practice mother tongue in foreign countries. In spite of the very many obstacles, enthusiastic members of the Bangladeshi Diaspora abroad are using print, online and electronic media to promote and practice Bangla    within our own community and also to present the proud heritage of our mother language before the whole world. In this connection, I am happy to note that EUROBD24NEWS, an online new portal edited and published by Mr. Imran Mahmud, will be inaugurated on 21^st February this year to serve as a bridge between home and abroad for our community living in France and other foreign countries.

4.         I hope that EUROBD24NEWS will become a trusted and reliable mouthpiece for the Bangladeshi community in France and the rest of the world by presenting a positive image of the country through carrying news relating to our homeland and our communities abroad from a professional and realistic perspective.

5.        I wish EUROBD24NEWS all success in its noble endeavor.
